A random MLS team generator picks one of Major League Soccer’s 30 clubs at random. Spin, and it lands on a club with every one having the same chance. It’s built for FC career saves, fantasy picks, and trivia. Reroll for a different club anytime.
You’ve got a club. Here’s how MLS fans use the picker.
Why spin a random MLS club?
MLS has grown fast, adding new clubs across the US and Canada, so the league feels different from the older European divisions. There’s no promotion or relegation, but a designated-player rule and a playoff format that gives most clubs a shot. A random career draw is a fun way to pick a side you’d never have chosen, whether it’s an established club or a recent expansion team still finding its feet.
The picker covers both the Eastern and Western Conferences. Filter to one conference before you spin if you want a regional challenge.
For splitting your local soccer group into sides, use the soccer team generator instead.

Frequently asked questions
How many clubs does the MLS generator include?
All 30 MLS clubs, split across the Eastern and Western Conferences. Because MLS keeps adding expansion clubs, the picker uses the site’s current club list so you’re always spinning the real, up-to-date league rather than an older lineup.
Is the MLS club pick fair?
Yes. It uses a Fisher-Yates shuffle, the standard unbiased method, so every club has the same chance whether it’s a founding club or a new expansion side. No club is weighted. The spin animation is just for show and doesn’t affect the result.
Can I use it for an FC career mode save?
Yes. Spin for a random MLS club and start a career save with them. Taking a recent expansion club and building them into a contender makes for a good challenge, since you’re working with a shorter history and roster than the established sides. Reroll if you want a different club to run.
Can I limit the pick to one conference?
Yes. Filter to the Eastern or Western Conference before spinning, and the picker only lands on clubs from that side. It’s handy for a regional challenge or when you want to follow a club closer to home. Remove the filter to spin the full league again.
